Is Sailient an AI agency or a software company?
We are an infrastructure and installation firm. Unlike agencies that offer consulting, we install working systems you own. We don't give you advice; we build and deploy the actual thing.
How is your AI different from tools like ChatGPT?
Standard AI tools guess. They predict what sounds right based on patterns. What we build wraps those same models in hard rules your business defines. If your policy says "No discounts above 10%," our system is 100% incapable of offering 11%. Same AI, but with your business logic in control.

Will this work with my specific CRM?
We work with the CRMs most service businesses actually use: Salesforce, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Zoho, Pipedrive, Close, Jobber, and ServiceTitan. If yours isn't on that list, tell us what you're running. We build custom middleware for proprietary and industry-specific stacks as part of our Custom Integrations module.
What if my software doesn't have an API?
We work around it. Webhooks, email parsing, screen-scraping middleware, and file-based data extraction are all tools we use when a direct API isn't available. Most legacy systems have at least one output we can hook into. We'll tell you what's possible in the audit.

How is our data handled?
Your data flows only between tools already in your stack. We don't store customer records, PII, or call transcripts on our servers. No client data is used to train AI models — not ours, not anyone's. The systems run in your infrastructure, under your credentials, and we don't retain access after handoff.
Are your systems HIPAA or SOC2 compliant?
Yes. Because we build into your existing secure infrastructure, we can maintain the compliance standards your industry requires, including HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2.

How much time is required from my team?
We handle 90% of the heavy lifting. We require about 4 hours of your team's time over a 14-day sprint for logic mapping and final production testing.
What is a "Friction Audit"?
It's our 30-minute diagnostic session where we map your manual data entry points and missed opportunities to determine the exact ROI of an automated system.

Why is this a fixed cost rather than a retainer?
Because we build infrastructure, not subscriptions. You pay a fixed fee for the build. After launch, there's a small monthly tool cost ($250-$750 depending on volume) to keep the AI systems running — but that covers the actual infrastructure, not our time. No consulting retainers, no hourly billing, no scope creep.
When will I see a return on investment?
Most clients see operational ROI (hours saved) within the first 30 days. Revenue ROI (recovered leads) usually manifests within the first storm season or high-volume cycle.

What does the 90-day guarantee actually mean?
If any system we deploy produces a logic error — a wrong routing decision, a bad output, a failed trigger — we fix it at no cost within 90 days of launch. No support tickets. No billing. Just fixed. The guarantee covers logic failures, not usage changes you make after handoff.
Can I update the AI's logic myself?
Yes. For Advanced and Enterprise tiers, we provide a management dashboard where you can update pricing, policy, and brand voice in real-time.

Does the Voice AI sound like a robot?
No. We use sub-500ms latency models with regional accent synchronization. Most human callers cannot distinguish our Voice AI from a professional onshore representative.
How do you handle background noise?
Our gateways use advanced neural noise-cancellation. Whether your customer is calling from a windy job site or a busy street, the AI filters for the human voice only.

Can the AI speak multiple languages?
Yes. We can deploy multi-lingual gateways that automatically detect and respond in the caller's preferred language (English, Spanish, French, etc.).
Can I choose the personality of the AI?
Absolutely. During the Logic Mapping phase, we define the Brand Persona, whether you want the AI to be strictly professional, friendly and conversational, or highly technical.

What happens if the AI makes a mistake?
The system flags it and escalates. When a response falls outside the confidence threshold or triggers an edge-case rule, it routes to a human queue with full context — the caller's history, what was asked, what the AI attempted. Your team reviews and responds. We log every escalation so we can tighten the logic after launch.
Does the AI ever make things up?
No. Because we wrap models in hard business rules, the AI cannot state something that isn't in your verified data set. If it doesn't know, it routes to a human. It won't guess a price, invent a policy, or promise something you didn't authorize.

What if a better AI model comes out next month?
Our infrastructure is Model Agnostic. We build the logic fabric separately from the AI model. If a better model emerges, we can swap the brain without rebuilding the entire system.
How do I scale this across 10 locations?
Easily. Once the Global Logic is mapped, we can deploy location-specific sub-gateways in minutes, each with its own local data and CRM routing.
